In this instance, one must volunteer and let go of this girl.

But the understanding wasn’t there so rules had to be put in place hence they agreed to go solo and stick to their A-game individually and whoever wins the girl will gain support from the other.

Guest Blog: KKD, Religion; The Girls We Have Raped And Our Reap

The oldest book’s first recorded case of felony aka un-bailable offense isn’t rape. It is Cain and his brother Abel’s joke gone bad . We might be wrong. #justmaybe

The setting of the kangaroo court presided over by God himself to adjudicate that crime as recorded in the book of Genesis is clear and gives in my opinion, enough indication that rape, at least according to religion, wasn’t a societal problem.

My fellow men of God, as we proceed, again based on scripture, we are told of how naked Adam woke up from a deep sleep and found another human being loitering in his Garden of Eden.

Upon sighting of this new game,It wont be far fetched to assume that blood immediately rushed into a certain part of his body( a reaction which will be new to him) so he calls out to his heavenly father and friend in a scene looking more like this…………….(Act 1 scene 1)

Adam: *whispering in a Ga accent* Paddy. Paddy. Paddy(Whisper turns into shout)

Oluman! Kw3 Paddy Whats up! Chale abeg I want see you right now o! Ataa Naa numor eii! Abeg make unna drop before things go go down wey u go pass top revoke ma rent!

(Loud wind and thunder precedes God’s introduction into the drama set inside Garden Of Eden)

A Piece Of Peace : Overcoming Adversity

Hello and welcome to a piece of peace. Your weekly dose of motivation and inspiration. This week, I would like to share with you on the topic of “overcoming adversity”. What are you made of? When the chips are down and push comes to shove, what lies beneath all the bravado and ego? Life has a way of knocking us down in a way we never saw coming.

Sometimes recovery from such a set back can be one of the most difficult things to do. I read somewhere a long time ago, that successful people in life are not people without life problems, they are people who respond to problems quickly and positively. My friend’s dad has gone through a series of traumatic events recently. He lost his wife about 10 years ago to breast cancer.

It was the most difficult thing for my friend and her family to handle. They battled the disease for a number of years before he lost his wife. My friend was a young girl at the time and the loss of her mother was something that she could not handle on her own. It took the whole family pulling together as a unit with love, care and determination and taking each day at a time to be able to overcome that set back.

10 years later, my friend’s dad re married. The pain of the old wife was still there but over the years, it became easier and easier to deal with. One day on a routine trip to the doctors, they noticed a lump in the breast of the new wife. Turns out she was also diagnosed with breast cancer. The cancer was aggressively spreading and she had to undergo chemotherapy. That was an even bigger blow for my friend’s dad.

Commenting on prophecies by pastors that there will be war during this year’s general election, the musician who recently released her sixth studio album, "Aforebo" said "I believe that God has disclosed to some people that there will be war and other bad things happening but I also believe I should speak good prophecies about the country as a Christian in order to save the country.

That is why I released a press statement earlier this year that we should be careful in our utterances so that we can all live in peace as Ghanaians."

She further disclosed that some of the most prestigious awards she has received in her career for the past thirteen years as a gospel artiste are the testimonies people give about her songs.

Maftown Heights Special Documentary To Air This Friday On Channel O

The highly anticipated Maftown Heights Special documentary is set to air on Channel O this Friday, 29th January 2016, at 17:00 with a repeat on Sunday, 31st January 2016, at 13:00.

The documentary covers the Maftown Heights story from its humble beginnings in 2010 with an audience of 900 people to being Africa’s second largest hip hop festivals which saw an audience attendance of just under 10 000 people in 2015.

Maftown Heights was created out of a desire for Khuli Chana to create a platform in Johannesburg, where he resides, that celebrates the greatness that has emanated from his home town Mahikeng. Mahikeng is the birthplace of what is now the largest sub-genre of hip hop in South Africa, Motswako.

Maftown Heights was co-founded by Khuli Chana and Dream Team SA Director, Refiloe Ramogase, to bring the idea to life through music and giving a platform to artists with Motswako roots, as well as to artists that have collaborated with and/or supported Motswako artists in one way or another.

#MotivateGhana : Meet The Young Graduate Making A Living From Painting

His artistic and professional paintings have won the hearts of many individuals and has now become a household name across the country. His name is Bernard Ato Sam.

At the age of 29 he works as a professional painter and the Managing Director of Anointed Bernard’s Painting and Decorating Service, located in East Legon.

At least, in a day, Bernard receives about twenty business calls from clients in and outside of Greater Accra. He has by far proved that one can make a living out of painting but not always from working in a reputable company.

Of course, the young entrepreneur’s success story didn’t happen in just a day, he had to wipe of sweat every day, sacrifice his time and also put in extra hard work and commitment.

Growing up

Growing up, it was quite obvious that the boy had a passion for painting. But, just like every typical African family setting, Bernard faced a lot of challenges getting his parents especially his mother to buy into the idea of him becoming a painter. They rather wanted him to further his education and go ahead to get a white-collar job.

So, he went ahead and gained admission to study Visual arts at Kaneshie Senior High Secondary Technical and later on to the Takoradi Polytechnic to pursue Painting and Decoration.

Sista Afia Gives Us Major Relationship Tips

While others see love as an earthly reflection of a heavenly reality, high life singer, Sista Afia says not everyone will be lucky in that department.

According to Sista Afia, if you don't go for who your heart belongs to, there is no way you can ever enjoy true love.

She posted this on her timeline.

Her words,

Lets Talk About Love - Everyone Has The Chance To Enjoy True Love, Only If They Go For It.

Mutual feelings and understanding each other are the two basic things to spice up any relationship. Tho there are other things needed to make love work, having just these two basic ingredients automatically tell others love exists. But, even before the application of these basic things, there needs to be a perfect match for these things to take effect.

Sometimes, without getting your perfect match, you end up falling in love with the wrong person. Other times also, you think you just want to have a one night stand with a random person who will later on end up being the one you are so much in love with.
