Gospel artiste, Ohemaa Mercy on Gh One's Ntoatoa show has disclosed that she is neither a pastor nor prophetess but she will not speak evil about the nation.
The musician in a chat with Ntoatoahene, host of the show stated that "I'm not a prophetess nor pastor but a true Christian who believes in Ghana. I believe in speaking positive words on the nation so that negative things will not happen".
Commenting on prophecies by pastors that there will be war during this year’s general election, the musician who recently released her sixth studio album, "Aforebo" said "I believe that God has disclosed to some people that there will be war and other bad things happening but I also believe I should speak good prophecies about the country as a Christian in order to save the country.
That is why I released a press statement earlier this year that we should be careful in our utterances so that we can all live in peace as Ghanaians."
She further disclosed that some of the most prestigious awards she has received in her career for the past thirteen years as a gospel artiste are the testimonies people give about her songs.
According to her, God gives her a message for a reason so she prays over her albums before releasing it in order to reach the target of God.
