The single released on Wednesday ahead of his upcoming album, Soundz of Africa, which was recorded live in Maryland, USA is a song of thanksgiving.
According to Sonnie Badu, Imani is a song of thanksgiving to God for all his faithfulness through his ministry.
The Worshipper also added that Imani is dedicated to his over 100k followers on social media and fans in Kenya. Imani which means faith and belief in Swahili is an Afro pop song produced and recorded by one of Ghana’s finest producer, Francis Osei of groove house studio.
Imani is with soothing vocals that sends chills all around you and has a chorus that is sang in Swahili with heart piercing horn lines.
“I dedicate this beautiful rendition to the people of Kenya and I want to thank them for their love a nd support for my ministry”, he reiterated.
