If you haven’t heard the news that KOFI OKYERE DARKO (aka KOD) is gunning for the Presidential position as an Independent Candidate in the forthcoming election, then you must either be from another planet or simply from a ‘no man’s land’.
“The Winneba born fashion-sweet-guy has made up his mind and no one can change it. His passion for smoothness doesn’t just end in entertainment, but has now crossed borders into politics and that is what you get when you are ‘the man of the people’”, an insider revealed.
If KOD succeeds in winning the said position, then his avant-garde style of leadership will be based on the reflection of his creative instincts, after all, no issue is too serious or unserious to be handled by a man who has seen it all.
Amidst all these, questions are rising like; if he wins, will he be a consummate figure, leader, and strategist? Or will he be an opportunist in the political arena, a good manipulator of men and circumstances, among others? No matter how serious your thoughts are, after we hear him publicly declare his stand, you will be able to have a take-home pack with some food for thought.
For those who are still reading this piece and wondering, “is it really true that Kofi wants to become a President?” Well wait for the end result which matters – as we gear up towards the premiere of the movie that has got the nation talking – NO MAN’s LAND.
It is a movie which reflects on so many things as well written and directed by the multiple awards winning Pascal Amanfo and produced by Salma Mumin Pictures.
The movie is set to be premiered on the 13th of February, 2016, at the Silverbird Cinemas, Accra Mall and West Hills Mall, with first show at 6pm and the second show at 9pm.
Aside KOD and his political spirits, other casts include Salma Mumin, Adjetey Annan, Nikki Samonas, Deyemi Okalawon, Doris Sackitey, and Wiyaala.
