Ian Wordi Makes Ghana Proud As 1st Runner-up At Mr. Africa International

Ghana’s hunk, Ian Wordi came in 2nd at this year’s Mr. Africa International that saw models of various nationalities across the continent showcase their multifaceted style, intellect, and chiseled physique at the end of the day.

Ian, who has over the past year appeared in iconic campaigns for swanky brands such as  Samsung, MTN, Woodin and starred in roles for acclaimed directors such as Shirley Frimpong Manso and Nicole Amarteifio and videos from Sarkodie to Nigerian artiste, Ric Hasani, editorials by Bob Pixel and Icon Photography.

He has seen his fair share of what it takes to be a top model and wanted to take his art a step further by vying for the Mr. Africa International ultimate prize that can afford him the platform to impact on young people. The competition that happened in Lagos, Nigeria had judges, Pencil, Denrele, Ubi Franklin, Selebobo among others.

At the end of the event, Ian placed 2nd after Ugandan, Keith Karuhuura fending off competition from 19 more of Africa’s finest young men. The Mr. Africa ambassador gets to encourage young Africans through the Young Entrepreneurs in Africa program.
However, this is the start of an illustrious career and a place for Ian to show Ghana, Africa, and the world what he has to share and the dedication he is devoting to change the art form of ‘Modeling’ while seeking to cement his rising image as a budding actor to look out for.

With more to offer than just fine looks, a chiseled body and a rep as a ladies man and an eye on conquering Africa first, and holiday next.
