Photos : Two Children's Home In Ghana Gained Xmas Support From The "Needy Shoebox Project" Team

As part of giving and showing immense affection to the less privileged & those in distress this yuletide; a non-governmental agency identified as “The-NSP” aided two children’s homes in Ghana by donating numerous items on Saturday, December 26th, 2015.

The first of its kind NSP Ghana donation also known as the “Needy Shoebox Project” was firstly conducted at the Grace Masak Foundation children’s home position at Buduburam, Liberia camp & moved over to the children’s home of Good Shepherd at Faakor.

Bureaucrats of the project presented items involving study merchandises, clothes, bathing products and foods among others and an undisclosed sum of cash on which will support the foster kids & home at large. All these items, neatly and colorfully packaged, were proudly provided by passionate people who really care a lot.

Speaking with the lead official of The-NSP Georgette, she strongly disclosed that: “The needy and orphans mostly don’t get the chance to commemorate Christmas like the way the fortunate does. They have no idea of what an xmas present is. So with that being said, she was touched to embark on such an "X’mas giveaway to the needy" journey with her wonderful team members (Ayesha & Nora). This is our first pilot project so we hope that as the years go by we will be able to reach out to a lot more kids". – She stated.

The “Needy Shoebox Project” Ghana was put together within a month.

NSP team commenced reaching out to people, friends, love ones and the responses were great. The Target for the said conducted donation on Boxing Day, led by the NSP was 200 children but at the end of it all 296 children benefited from it.

This successful project of the NSP shall be a routine which will ensue every year to provide for the needy.
