Merqury Quaye has joined Hitz FM as the host of the station’s drive time programme, Cruise Control, after the exit of former host Kwame B – who has joined Kasapa FM.
Ace radio DJ and radio presenter, Merqury Quaye popularly known in the the Ghanaian entertainment circles as the Finest Hypeman has finally made a comeback to radio after 3 years since he took a break to concentrate on the development of the Ghana DJ Awards which enters it's 4th year in 2016.
On Hitz 103.9 FM, an Accra based radio station, the former publicist of Tic Tac, also mans one of the station's newly designed Urban Hitz Show which airs on Saturdays from 10:00am to 1:00pm,
The D.J cum MC who was with the defunct Choice FM, now Kasapa FM, as the host of the station's drive time show is already making waves on the airwaves a week and a few days since he took the spot formerly held by Kwame Bee.
The former presenter on Atlantis Radio expressed his enthusiasm about the show, indicating that he would bring his years of experience in showbiz to bear on the show.

Merqury Quaye is the first presenter to host the first ever music video chart show in Ghana, Soundcity Top 10 on GTV in 2007.
Merqury Quaye played a great role in making the‘Kangaroo’ song and dance an African sensation.
In 2011, he founded the Ghana DJ Awards, a programme on the Ghana entertainment calendar that would make history as the first ever national DJ honours to be conducted on an African soil.
