Introducing Kwame Osei Tutu On 'pluzz Today’ On 89.9: The Latest Morning Show Presenter In Accra

Pluzz 89.9 FM is back to normal programming and its presenters are braving all odds to make the station thick, one of whom is the morning show presenter, Kwame Osei Tutu.

Contrary to calls by most people that morning shows should be devoid of too many political harangues, Kwame thinks otherwise.

“Every program is political because for instance when you pick a topic on agriculture, education, economy, no matter what you do, you can't do away with attributing the problems to government,” he said.

He added that the reasons why people complain about most morning shows is that, most of the topics that many radio producers choose, are things that politicians have said, and not necessarily something that has a positive impact on the society and the fact that, they still use the main stream politicians to discuss those issues, make people complain.

He however, noted that for him if he wants to discuss an issue of a particular institution, he will call an expert from the various organizations but not propaganda politicians, who will not add up anything to the show.

Talking about his show named 'Pluzz Today' he stated that they look at issues that will benefit the nation.  “Forty-five percent of the issues we discuss are politics and 60 % is what people describe as social issues, we at Pluzz FM have our own agenda. As a media outlet, we need to set pace, also have to look at what people are ready to listen  to,” he whispered.
Kwame who started as an amateur presenter on Adehyie FM 12 years ago, moved to Mighty Radio, to host a teens talk programme where he used to present the morning show and from there to Hello FM, where he was the head of news for 6 years.

Kwame Tutu is aware that there are big time competitors in the game but he is really proud of the peak that Pluzz FM has gotten to because Pluzz FM  is almost a year old and now ruling the airwaves, though it came to meet lots of stations which are about 10 years old and over.

You can listen to Kwame Osei Tutu who is also the Head of News on Pluzz 89.9 FM from 5:40am to 9am located inside Santa Maria Drug Store junction.
