UN General Assembly’s Prez In Ghana To Strengthen Ghana’s Political Support

The President of the 73rd Session of the United Nations General Assembly, Her Excellency Maria Fernanda Espinosa Graces is in Ghana to help strengthen Ghana’s political support and cooperation with the United Nations General Assembly.

Hon. Dr. Ziblim Iddi Barry, together with Mr. Gabriel Tandor, at the Kempiski Hotel, to accompany Her Excellency Maria Fernanda Espinosa Graces to the Cape Coast Castle.

The purpose of Her visit into the country is to help strengthen Ghana’s political support and cooperation with the United Nations General Assembly.

It is also to re- affirms Ghana’s leadership roles in the African continent and support for the implementation of Agenda 2030.

As part of Her visit, H.E. Graces will hold the following engagements.

1. President Nana Addo Dankwa Akufo-Addo

2. Speaker of Parliament, Rt. Hon. Prof. Aaron Mike Ocquaye

3. Minister for Foreign Affairs and Regional Integration, Hon. Shirley Ayorkor Botchwey(MP)

4. High-Level Ministerial Committee on Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs)

5. Asantehene Otumfuo Osei Tutu II

Again, H.E. Graces will be the guest speaker at a Public Lecture which will be organised by the Council on Foreign Relations Ghana, today, Friday 10th May, 2019, at 5:00pm, at the Accra International Conference Centre, on the topic – ‘Responding to global challenges in a fast changing world : The case for strengthening Multilateralism’.

Earlier upon her arrival, She had a Joint Press Briefings at the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and Regional Integration on Wednesday, 8th May, 2019.
