The Minister of Tourism Arts and Culture, (MoTAC) Mrs Barbara Oteng- Gyasi has given assurance that, she would help the government to achieve its transformational agenda for the Tourism Sector in the country.
She stressed on her intention to attend to the needs of the Creative Arts Sector which has the tendency to boost the economic fortunes of those engaged in it.
She gave the assurance during a Staff Durbar, held in her honour, at the Ministry’s Conference Hall on May 2, 2019.
Mrs Oteng-Gyasi said that the ministry would be pushing for the expeditious passage of the Creative Arts Bill which would invariably help to monetise the creativity of the Industry, adding that, all these initiatives would come to the fore, if all staff were committed to delivering on their assigned roles.

The staff durbar was at the instance of the minister to listen and deliberate on issues confronting the staff and the sector and proffering remedies to them.
The Deputy Minister of Tourism Arts and Culture, Dr Ziblim Iddi Barry, in his closing remarks also emphasised that Mrs Oteng-Gyasi should be assured, that, staff had the requisite intellectual, and resources needed to turn the fortunes of Ghana’s Tourism Sector.
The minister had earlier met with the Management of the tourism ministry, as well as, the Heads of Agencies under the Ministry.
