Stars From All Nations (SFAN) is delighted to bring you the second edition of the QUANTUM LEAP CAREER AND INVESTMENT FAIR for the Young African Leaders Initiative (YALI), West Africa.
The event is aimed at driving forward the much needed societal change and growth through practical discussions with businesses leaders operating in Africa.
Focus for this year’s edition is for business leaders to leverage on technology to take their works to exponential levels and create more sustainable jobs, and will host 20+ companies from different sectors.
The Young Africa Leaders Initiative is a signature professional development program designed to equip promising young talents in Africa to champion change on the continent through a rich learning exchange.
To complement the main fellowship program that happens in the United States, regional learning centers have been created to bring professionals from thriving organizations in their respective fields of endeavors to interact with participants and shape visions. Ghana has been the West Africa regional learning center.
Designed for YALI W/A participants who are entrepreneurs and potential employers, the essence of the event is to create a networking platform for participating organizations to share experiences and values for shared prosperity in our world. The expected geometric surge in Africa’s population doubling to some 2.4 billion by 2050 requires conscious and continuous efforts to develop the skills of young people and create more opportunities that would match the anticipated growth revolving around technology and entrepreneurship.
Over the years, Stars From All Nations (SFAN), a youth-led social enterprise poised to bridging the gap between education and work through skills development and mentorship, has responded positively towards this course by drawing partnerships and collaborations with corporate institutions towards raising the next generation.
We continue to look for more of such strategic alliances and strengthen our relationships to create some 10,000 sustainable jobs by 2017, and unearth the enormous potentials of young people in contributing to national economies and achieving global goals.
