Saturday 19TH September, 2015 saw Map sports Management and Map volunteers come in partnership with the Ghana disability sports center for the maiden edition of the ability fun games which is here stay and would be repeated annually to bring fun to persons living with disability and giving hope back to such person to come out well to society, the event which took place at Burma camp ( Nicolson stadium) saw 120persons with disability and 30 volunteers from map sports management and map volunteers both locally and international to a fun filled day, with this year’s theme being (bringing fun to the disabled).

On the 3rd of December which is the world disability day Map volunteers and Map Sport Management in collaborations with Ghana disability sports center will execute a fully planned fun filled event activation to support persons living with disability, which see a much richer content of games, music, food and trade activations to display and sell wears of such person and to support the center for their good work.
It is our hope that in November Kumasi will experience the feel of having volunteers from map volunteer’s come support persons with disability in the Ashanti region just as it was done for those in the greater Accra region. Speaking with the president of the Ghana Disability Sports center Mr. Alex Tetteh he stated emphatically that this is something that is in to stay and he admonishes us as a country to keep supporting and accepting person with disability as part and with able ability to make the world a better place.

MAP volunteers is a registered not for gain organization both in the United State of America and Ghana. It is a unique 3-month,4-months,6-months program for the youth between the ages of 15years and upwards.. During the program, the youth volunteers contribute to community-driven development projects which focus on health, education, legal practice, urban road, traditional cultural tender, fee fixing, and gender equity, live in host families and take part in youth-led educational activities.
