Africa’s hottest DJ Cuppy kicked started her eight African countries tour tagged "Cuppy Takes Africa" in a grand opening ceremony at the Federal Palace Hotel, Victoria Island in Nigeria.

The magnificent event attracted high profile personalities in attendance which included her father, Femi Otedola and many of the top DJs and music producers in Nigeria.

At the grand opening ceremony which went down in Nigeria, DJ Cuppy together with her colleague DJs and Music producers exhibited their mastery of turntable as they delivered electrifying, good music and pure entertainment to their fans and patrons.

Come Friday 7th August, the hottest and sexiest female DJ in Africa, DJ Cuppy will take over the Kristal Night Club in Accra, Ghana making it her thrid stop in her Cuppy Takes Africa tour.

The hottest female DJ Cuppy embarked her journey to Djing, at age 16 in London from buying second-hand equipment and playing in clubs.

In 2014, she was the resident DJ at the MTV Africa Music Awards in Durban. She then played at the Tatler and Christie’s Art Ball in London and the Financial Times Luxury Summit in Mexico City.

In July 2014, she released House of Cuppy, her first compilation mix in both London and Lagos. She then had a launch for House of Cuppy in New York City on September Also in 2014 she launched Red Velvet Music Group, a music management and content production business.

Early 2015, she was featured on the cover of the Guardian Life magazine alongside Yemi Alade, Fade Ogunro, Stephanie Coker, Yagazie Emezi and Ronke Bamisedun. The magazine celebrated these six women and called them the "new generation women".

In March 2015, she was the official DJ for the 2015 Oil Barons Charity in Dubai, and the first African act to have ever performed at the event. She was featured in the 2015 April/May issue of Forbes Woman Africa.
