Buzzycash has officially launched in Ghana with three new games, Ghana Jollof Rice, Trotro, and Goldmine, each one inspired by everyday Ghanaian culture and experiences.
During a media launch in Accra on Tuesday, November 25, the company explained that the games were created to feel familiar, engaging, and fun, while still giving players real opportunities to win.
All three games are fully registered and approved by the National Lottery Authority (NLA), giving them full credibility under Ghana’s gaming laws.
Speaking at the event, the CEO said the company’s mission is to build an inclusive and rewarding gaming community, one that reflects daily life in Ghana and brings genuine joy and value to players. The Country Director added that the games were intentionally designed to mirror Ghana’s identity and culture, making them easy for people to connect with while offering fair chances of winning.
- In Ghana Jollof Rice, players pick a “secret ingredient”, like oil, pepper, beef stock or tomato paste, and the system instantly determines whether they win. Winners get immediate payouts to their mobile-money wallets.
- Trotro is modeled after Ghana’s busy urban transport system. Players navigate through obstacles like police checkpoints, tyre-bursts, or road crashes. If they make it to the destination, they win a multiplied amount of their stake. If they don’t, they lose their stake, but if the game warns them of danger before they start, they get their stake refunded (like paying for a transport fare).
- Goldmine has two modes, quick mining and specified-amount mining. Players stake between GHS 1 and GHS 1,000 and choose a multiplier. For example, staking GHS 1 with a 20x multiplier could pay out GHS 20 if you win.
Buzzycash says the games are transparent, run on the NLA Caritas platform (which ensures fairness and prevents manipulation), and also qualify players for a monthly draw of GHS 50,000.
