It was a moment joy when Empire foundation under the wings of Ace broadcaster, Kwabena Anokye Adisi more commonly known as Bola Ray, his family, empire entertainment crew and colleagues from Starr 103.5FM donated items worth thousands of Ghana cedis and a brand new Mitsibushi Pajero to the SOS Children’s village in Tema.
This year’s donation marks five years of Bola Ray and his Empire foundation team consistency in reaching out annually to the Tema SOS.
Empire foundation this time made a big surprise to all the mothers and children at the SOS when the new Mitsibushi Pajero was donated to them for the purposes of emergencies, should anyone at the SOS fall sick, aside the vehicle presentation where numerous items which included bags of rice, washing powder, indomie, exercise book, toiletries, drinking water, Africa cola drinks and an undisclosed amount of money.
Donating the items, Bola Ray advised the children of the Tema SOS to keep loving one other and as they grow they should keep in mind that whatever that they have, there should be that idea of sharing.

He said “let’s love one another, love is the most important thing, it doesn’t matter how much you have, it doesn’t matter where you are coming from, so as you also grow up remember sharing is caring. Whatever that you have there is somebody there that you have to reach out to”.
Akosua Sosu who spoke on behalf of the children thanked Bola Ray and his team for the kind gesture.“We take this opportunity to wish you all a blissful and a happy new year and especially to you Bola Ray, may God grant you good health, more wisdom, innovation, creativity and a unique style” Also showing some appreciations, the children welcomed Bola Ray and his team with a cultural dance and poetry recital.
Manifest, Nero X, Nana Qwame and Edem added more smiles to the faces of the children by performing some of their hit songs and also gave them a word of advice.
Other personalities who also assisted in this year’s donation were Afia Schwarzenegger, Peace Hyde, Bola Ray’s family and many others.
