A Piece Of Peace: THE PROCESS OF PROGRESS

Hello and welcome to this weeks piece of peace, your weekly dose of motivation and inspiration. Today I would like to share with you on the topic “the process of progress”. Our eyes are in front because it is better to look ahead than to look back. 

The only time you should ever look back is to see how far you have come. A lot of setbacks happen to each and every one of us. No matter how dire you feel your situation is, it is important to remember that you cannot move on to the next chapter of your life by rereading the old book.

Today is a new day and that means you have yet another chance to create your future. Sometimes the need to fix things that have already gone wrong in our life keeps us trapped in the same place for a very prolonged period of time. And before we realise, life has just gone straight past us.

You have the come back power. In life you can be up today and down tomorrow. You can experience joy and sorrow, you may have lost your money or your job, your relationship or your business may have taken a turn for the worst. 

Life may have thrown its hardest balls and people may have put you in a box labelled failure, unfocused and a disappointment. But just because they have put you in a box of mediocrity, it does not mean you have to dress it up and call it home.

In the midst of this, don’t ever forget who you are, you still have you! Determine that whatever you are going through today will not break you but only make you stronger. Stand up for yourself and be courageous. Look to your future and never your past. God has an amazing plan for your life. He will finish what He started.

You are in the right place at the right time doing the right thing. You are created for greatness and despite obstacles, trials or even delays; you will fulfil the destiny God has for you. But you have to make the choice daily. You can be miserable or you can be motivated. But whatever you do, it will always be your choice. The power lies in your mind-set.

So create the mind-set that will bring out the greatness in you. Because the only person that you need is yourself. Being defeated is a temporary condition, but giving up is what makes that condition permanent. There are always-messy moments on the road to destiny.

This is not your first and it most certainly wont be your last. You cannot have progress without mess. But every morning when you wake up, make up your mind to solve as many problems before returning home.

And learn to silence your fear with your desire for success. You were born to win. So enjoy the process of progress and never give up.

And remember, be yourself because everyone else is taken.
