Ghanaian fastest BET rap artist Sarkodie has disclosed he has been chosen as an ambassador for this year’s breastfeeding awareness campaign which commenced on Monday August 4th 2014.
The awareness campaign which seeks to enlighten mothers and women across the country on the essence of breastfeeding and the best breastfeeding practices will see the “illuminati” hitmaker join in various activities to be organized.
Sarkodie stated he was honoured to be chosen as an ambassador to champion such a campaign, “One thing women must be educated on is breastfeeding. …And I’m championing this course. …Let save our Babies”
This year’s World breastfeeding Week Celebration is under the theme, “Breastfeeding: A winning goal for life” and its celebrated every August.
