According to reports, one of the longest-serving presenters of the Accra-based Happy FM, Dr. Cann, has left the station. Cann hosted his last show (Showbiz Extra) this weekend, and will join the Multimedia Broadacsting Company-owned, HITZ FM, enewsgh.com hints.
He is leaving Happy FM, which is heavy on sports programming, to HITZ which is largely arts and entertainment oriented - and more urban. One of the early names to join the 98.9 lads, he spent some 9 years on air, and hosted several programs, the two most recent being the Drive (now being hosted by Afia Schwarzenegger) and the weekend entertainment discussion show, Showbiz Extra.
He will join the likes of Kwame B, Black Eye, Andy Dosty, Doren Avio, Gizo, and Nanahemaa among others Hitz FM
