Bio:

One of the most listened-to radio personalities in the country, Kwame Sakyiamah, aka Lexis Bill, the host of the Multi Track Show on Joy FM, has taken over Joy FM’s Drive Time programme after the exit of Nathaniel Kwabena Adisi, aka Bola Ray, a couple of days ago.  All his programmes on radio and television have attracted a large number of listeners and viewers in Accra and its environs, just because of the way he handles the programmes. He has carved a niche for himself due to his right composure, attitude and his ability to have a great impact on his audiences.

Kwame, a graduate from the Kwame Nkrumah University of Science and Technology is also the host of the new reality television talk show dubbed Men’s World, and according to a number of radio personalities, Kwame is indeed the best person to take over from Bola Ray.

Despite the fact that a number of radio listeners see him as a good and admiring radio personality, he is also a great collector of music, and he gives background information to every song he plays on radio, leaving the listener to feel part of his shows.

Kwame’s commitment to educating people through radio, promoting Ghanaian tourism and arts on his programmes coupled with his great sense of humour and professionalism in emceeing shows, made him very popular among radio listeners.

Born in the 80s, Lexis has been on radio in Kumasi since 2004. He joined Focus FM while a first year student of Kwame Nkrumah University of Science and Technology (KNUST).

Within two years, while still a student of KNUST, he joined Kapital Radio as the Drive Time host, carving a niche for himself as the voice of urban radio in Kumasi, with an infectious delivery and authoritative presentation of R&B and hiphop.

Upon graduating with a BA in Sociology and Human Resources, he was employed by Xtacy FM to host the station’s midmorning show after undergoing some training in radio programming.

In October 2010, he joined Multimedia Group Limited’s Hitz FM. He later moved to Joy Fm, also owned by Multimedia Group Limited to host the Multi Track Show.

JOY FM presenter, Bola Ray, has left the station. He’s confirmed to enewsgh.com via a telephone conversation this morning that he’s left.

His exit brings to an end 11 years of a fruitful stay at the Kokomlemle-based station, which he joined from the then TOP Radio (now TOP FM).

He is leaving to concentrate on some other interests, chief amongst them being his Empire Group of companies, which owns the Takoradi-based Empire 102.7 FM, and Empire Entertainment, the events and artiste management wing that organizes the once-a-year Ghana Meets Naija and Back in the Dayconcerts.

Kwame Sakyiamah (a.k.a Lexis Bill) is sitting in until such a time when a formal host is announced.
