Tigo Storms Kwahu With Sarkodie And Shatta Wale. cc: @TheGHMediaGuru

The towns on the Kwahu Mountains are very big attractions for many people who look forward to having a good time during the Easter holidays and this year’s festivities would be no exception to this phenomenon.

This year again many such activities are planned to take place at Kwahu from Friday to Monday and the biggest of them all will be the show at Obomeng High Street on Saturday featuring two of the biggest artistes in Ghana today, Sarkodie and Shatta Wale.

It is dubbed the “Switch Concert” and it is telecom operator Tigo’s way of taking advantage of the massive turnout at Kwahu to introduce its new campaign to its current and potential customers at Kwahu and who best to use to be used for this than two of the biggest names in hiplife/hiphop and dancehall and the biggest ambassadors of the respective music genres.
Sarkodie is the undisputed rap “heavyweight champion” at the moment and he has shown on different platforms that the can pull big crowds and perform to them very well. He has excelled so well at both indoor and outdoor events and it is hoped that he will bring his “A” game to Kwahu to excite the many people who will be there for this concert.

Shatta Wale needs no introduction because over the last 12 months no Ghanaian music artiste has been more popular than the self-proclaimed “Dancehall King” from Korle Gonno. He has pulled the biggest crowds to all the events on which he has performed across the country and he sure will do same at Kwaku on Saturday.

Hopefully Shatta Wale and Sakodie will be able to show their class to the enjoyment of the revelers at Kwahu when the Switch Concert comes around on Saturday. Other supporting artistes are T-Plow, Assase Abban and Talent Hunt.
Apart from the “Switch Concert” with Sakodie and Shatta Wale, Tigo will also engage in other activities from Thursday till Sunday.

There will be major sales activations from Thursday to Holy Saturday at Obomeng and Mpraeso, there will also be a donation to the Chiefs and people of Obomeng Traditional Council on Friday at Obomeng Chief’s Palace and above all there will be a big health walk on Sunday Obomeng High street through Mpraeso to Obomeng Presby Park.

An official of Tigo believes that this will be “the biggest health walk Kwahu has ever seen.”

If you find yourself around Kwahu from over the Easter weekend make a date to attend the FREE BONTO Switch Concert with Sarkodie and Shatta Wale or join any of the other activities that Tigo brings to the people of Kwahu.
