Merqury Quaye To Apologize To DJ Kinino If....?

A nominee of the just ended Ghana DJ Awards, Ernest Adjei aka DJ Kinino was reported in last week’s edition of your evergreen Flex Newspaper, to have threatened to take Merqury Quaye to court for gross disrespect shown towards him at the awards. 

This stems from the fact that his name was not mentioned during the awards even though his name was present on the nomination list communicated on radio and online prior to the awards.

Speaking on Flex on Pluzz on Pluzz 89.9fm with Sammy Flex as the host, Poly FM based DJ Kinino has reiterated his quest to ensure that Merqury Quaye is dragged to court. He could not understand why he would be made to come to Accra for the awards later to be embarrassed.

He mentioned that all initial efforts to get in touch with Merqury Quaye failed but when he finally got in touch with Merqury Quaye; he (Merqury Quaye) created the impression that the issue was not that important.

When Merqury Quaye was called on phone to explain why DJ Kinino’s name was omitted or not mentioned at the awards, he expressed shock at the incident but noted that there wasn’t any change in the nomination list prior to the awards.

In as much as he wished DJ Kinino could provide evidence to support his claim, Merqury Quaye revealed that he would watch the entire video footage of the 2014 Ghana DJ Awards and if indeed DJ Kinino’s name was not mentioned as he claims ,he would render an unqualified apology to DJ Kinino.
