In our set up as a people, anytime followers demand for something you have been providing them for a period of time, the basic understanding is that you have been accepted by the people. At the background of this understanding, we are with a firm belief that Ghana and the entertainment industry at large have accepted Flex newspaper in no uncertain terms. Don’t forget Flex Entertainment Limited is the publisher of Flex newspaper which is duly registered by the National Media Commission. (NMC/C.I 39/09/885)
Before we went for the Christmas break, we announced on our front page that we will only return to the newsstands on the 15th of January but it is now clear that our fans and loyal readers cannot wait any longer with constant calls to our office asking when we are returning to the newsstands. God being so good, we are set to bring you an improved Flex newspaper next week with our usual quality content which cannot be compared to any in our country.
Whilst on break, management decided to change the total lay out of the newspaper to give our readers a new look and a refreshing feeling which will be totally different from what they have been enjoying over the past six (6) years that they have been following our stories. We have also re-introduced one new column that is the “Media Watch Dog” which was loved by many of our readers. The column will be an eye for what has been happening on our radio and television circles with frequent updates and happenings in that aspect of our industry.
That notwithstanding, your usual suspects like Kwame Dadzie will still hit you hard with “SAY IT ALOUD” which has gotten enough reviews throughout the country. Osarfo Anthony is also coming out stronger than before after harnessing another Chartered Accountant portfolio through hard work and dedication. His “Objective Review” column will see different changes as compared to the previous years, so you pay attention and be ready to read matured features and serious analysis of events unfolding in our industry. Before we went for the Christmas break, we announced on our front page that we will only return to the newsstands on the 15th of January but it is now clear that our fans and loyal readers cannot wait any longer with constant calls to our office asking when we are returning to the newsstands. How can we forget our gospel folks who have been praying for us all these while? Stephen Kenneth Nakujah is ready to go beyond the ordinary stories we read from the people who take us high to the highest God and to delve into serious revelations about their activities both in private and at public places. “Flex Gospel Corner” is the next thing to watch out for this year if you want to hear more about our gospel stars and their lifestyle. All our reporters and contributors including David Offei Lartey, Ebenezer Narh Affum, Reagan Odei Sarfo and Mustapha A. Inusah are all poised for ground breaking stories this year so the industry should sit up for the total shakeup in 2014. You want more designs, then get ready for more because our creative designer is aiming to win any awards associated with Creative works in the newspaper industry this year…. Let`s hide his name for now!!!
Yes, the wait is over because managing editor and publisher Samuel Atuobi Baah has said the road is clear now for production to begin. Though he was nursing his new radio show on Pluzz 89.9 fm FLEX ON PLUZZ on Sundays 3-5pm, he believes he has settled on the show and can now share his attention with the production of Flex newspaper. Therefore on 15th January 2014 which happens to be next week Wednesday, fans and loyal readers of Flex newspaper will see their favourite entertainment newspaper on the newsstands through the country. The good news is also that, we have added some new distribution joints in Volta Region and some parts of the Western region including Bolgatanga in the Northern region.
What else can we say; we are grateful to our readers and the people including the various institutions who do business with us. We say enjoy this fruitful year to the top.
HAPPY NEW YEAR AND GOD`S BLESSINGS TO ALL!!!
