The Ring Road Central-based station and its presenters are credited with providing a platform for upcoming artistes, and also supporting the craft of established acts. The station’s programming and events is testament to its dedication to the growth of the Ghanaian music industry.

In 2016, the Adabraka-based station introduced #GhWednesdayLive – an initiative that sees the station play strictly Ghanaian music for 24 hours on Wednesday. The initiative is to support the Ghanaian music industry and the craft of Ghanaian artistes.

A year later, Live FM Artiste of the Month, another instalment of the hugely popular GH Wednesday Live on air delight was also introduced. It seeks to celebrate Ghanaian artistes for their trend-setting, creative and innovative abilities, and also give upcoming artistes the needed commercial buzz, and also a breadth of fresh air for the music industry.

The Live FM 0n-Air team includes ComoPromo, Jeremie, Antoine Mensah, DJ Lord, Regina Krave, Jason, Sheldon, Micheal Sagoe. DJ Bass, DJ Isaac Cool, DJ Mingle, Terry Mingle, Jeshurun Okyere and Masta Jay.

A successful story that started in May 2015, LIVE FM has grown to become Ghana’s best testament of what youthful exuberance when restricted in creativity can do, and the nation’s most exciting youth brand with a large following.

Foley and Gyan led the station’s extensive coverage of the 2016 Black Entertainment Television(BET) Awards as the only Ghanaian Media Partner after a deal with organizers, Viacom International Media Networks.

In the same year, a deal was reached with TRACE, leading Lifestyle and entertainment media organization. The two bodies agreed to tap into their existing strengths to provide compelling content that sits at the heart of Africa’s ever growing media and entertainment landscape.

LIVE FM is owned by Africa’s fastest growing media group EIB Network, which also owns GH One TV, Agoo TV, FIESTA TV, Starr FM, Kasapa FM, Ultimate FM, Empire FM, Abusua FM, Agoo FM, and the Daily Heritage Newspaper.
