Off the back of Human Rights Day, South African icon, PJ Powers, fondly known as Thandeka, has just released a new single titled Walk In My Shoes.

PJ Powers’ Walk In My Shoes single will officially launch this Sunday morning, 25 March 2018, at the Human Rights Festival ‘We the People Walk’ taking place at Constitution Hill. The song will launch at the start of the walk specifically written by PJ Powers to draw attention and focus on Human Rights and Social Justice.

Constitution Hill is partnering with Thuli Madonsela Foundation and Khulisa Social Solutions to present Walk In My Shoes as this year’s Human Rights song.

“A paradigm shift from no social justice to an abundance – that is my quest – making people aware and conscious of the issues that surround social justice,” shares PJ Powers.

Not only a world renowned multi award-winning musician, PJ Powers is also known for her activism and continues to play a pivotal role in the country in fighting for social justice.

PJ Powers is bringing back the music and the country can expect a lot more music from Thandeka this year. Walk In My Shoes will be sent to all radio stations and PJ Powers will be doing media tours to spread the message and create awareness around human rights and social justice.
