The World Travel Awards (WTA), acknowledged across the globe as the ultimate travel accolade and considered the “Oscars” of the travel industry aims to celebrate those organizations who push the boundaries of industry excellence.

Villa Monticello has been annually nominated for the coveted World Travel Awards since opening its doors in 2011 and has accepted honors for Ghana’s Leading Hotel award in 2012, 2013, 2014 and 2016, Ghana’s Leading Boutique Hotel 2016 and Ghana’s Leading Hotel Suite 2015 & 2016.

Industry insiders, consumers and stakeholders from around the world are invited to cast their votes for  Villa Monticello  until 21st of August. The winners, which are selected by online ballot entries, will be announced at the 2017 World Travel Awards Africa Gala Ceremony in Rwanda’s thriving capital, Kigali on Tuesday 10th October 2017.

It is thrilling to know that we are competing with properties that are more than 10 times our size in terms of capacity and team yet we rival in world class service,” says Anita Ottenhof, Villa Monticello’s Deputy General Manager who traveled to Zanzibar, Tanzania last year to accept Villa Monticello’s 3 WTA trophies.
