Black Motion’s Ya Badimo Album Now Gold

SAMA award-winning, South African house music sensations, Black Motion’s fourth studio album Ya Badimo has officially been certified Gold in just six weeks since its release.

Ya Badimo is a 13-track offering that builds on the narrative they started unfolding in 2010 telling their life story through purpose-driven music.

On the album, there are collaborations with the likes of Chymamusique, Simphiwe Dana, Tresor, Madala Kunene, Tlokwe Sehume, Brenden Praise, Nokwazi Dlamini as well as frequent collaborator and long-time friend, Xoli M contributing to the music, among others.

Black Motion pack an abundance of stunning beats, dope instrumentals, powerful lyrical content and epic delivery on just about every one of the spectacular tracks that made the cut on the must have Ya Badimo album.

The talented duo of Thabo Mabogwane and Bongani Mohosana, who both hail from Soshanguve, released their new album Ya Badimo worldwide as part of their global licensing deal with Sony Music Entertainment Africa. The duo came together in 2009 and have been producing music ever since.

Ya Badimo’s Gold selling album status comes as no surprise and is well deserved for Black Motion as the album packs a punch with breathtaking production and authentic musical artistry.

Black Motion’s Ya Badimo album is available on all good digital music platforms and music stores nationwide. Make sure to get a copy this festive season and listen out for their latest single, Imali, on your favourite radio stations.
