The 2015 edition of Ghana’s most prestigious teen event, Ghana Teen Choice Awards will be held at the National Theatre on Saturday 12th September 2015.

The Launch which was attended by executives of the Silver Network, past and present nominees of the contest, press men and members of the public marked the commencement of public voting for all nominees and saw the official unveiling of a Ghana Teen Choice theme song and Music video as well as a flash mob dance routine.
Prof. Elsie Kaufman of University of Ghana, Professional sports broadcaster Garry Al Smith of Joy fm and Award winning Music Group VVIP will serve as consultants for the show.
This years competition has 35 Nominees and 6 groups in 10 separate categories and an extra 6 categories to celebrate personalities who influence Teenagers in Ghana.
2014/2015 Wassce top scorer Hassan Mikail and first ever Ghanaian Olympic Gold medalist Martha Bissah lead the nominations chart with 2 nominations each.
The Ghana Teen Choice Awards event was instituted in August 2014 to celebrate teen excellence and recognize various personalities who influence Teenagers across Ghana.
The head of team explained that the TCA wasn’t reserved for teens only but all other public personalities whose activities affect and influence the lives of teenagers.
“This awards event should not be seen as a competition between nominees but as a way of encouraging teens to strive for excellence in everything they do.
We take this opportunity to call on all Parents to come watch and support their kids on the event night.”
The event comes off on Saturday 12th September 2015 at the Ghana National Theatre.
Members of the public can follow weekly diaries on High Skul Clique airing on GHOne TV every Saturday at 11am and vote for their favorite Nominees by texting their names to 1413 on all networks.
