BET Award winner, Sarkodie is currently wrapping up a video shoot for a new song with American hip hop artiste Ace Hood.
Due for release in few days, it would be made available through the Tigo Music/Deezer platform, Sarkcess Music executives have told enewsgh.com.
A major breakthrough, it comes years after arguments for him to do a collaboration with a big American artiste was made.
The pair met for the past first time in 2012, when Sarkodie attended the BET Awards. A relationship was established and the pair started talking.
Ace Hood brings to this collaboration years of mainstream experience that should be important to the song’s global appreciation.
Signed to DJ Khaled’s We the Best Music Group, and Cash Money Records, he is the brain behind the very popular ‘Bugatti’ song of 2013. Hood’s other popular song is ‘Hustle Hard’, a song Sarkodie helped grow its popularity in Ghana with his ‘Young Young Girls’ cover.
The Sarkodie-Ace Hood deal was facilitated by the Washington DC-based Coyah International Productions.
