The unfortunate event occurred around 8:00pm on Sunday, March 22nd on his way to the 37 Military Hospital in Accra for medical treatment.
The cause of his death is unknown. His publicist, Elorm Beenie is expected to release press statement on Monday, March 23rd regarding his death and the cause.
Ghetto KB, who is currently signed unto Jam Master Jay’s (JMJ) Xtra Large Music label has recorded and featured on several hit songs including African Name by Sway, Radio, One Night Stand, No Other Love, Bills On Me, Number One and many others.
He had a brief spell with Snipers Music group based in the UK and got back to Xtra Large Music where his career begun to take shape commercially.
Below is a statement from the label and it reads;
As a label (Xtra Large Music), we respect the privacy of Kwabena Buahin (Ghetto KB’s) family and the severity of the matter (his death), thus, would appeal to all to wait for an official statement from his family (some time soon).
We are in great pain. On behalf of Greene E. Royce, JMJ Baby, Kaakie & HighGradeFamily, we hereby express our heart-felt sympathies going out to family.
