2131CLUBS TO INITIATE GLOBAL LCFI CAMPAIGN TO PROMOTE PEACE IN AFRICA

From Friday 27th of March 2015 until an impact is made, 2131Clubs will be running a social media and student networking campaign dubbed the GLOBAL LCFI to highlight the key ways our country can continue to support every student in West Africa to rise up and push the agenda of PEACE IN AFRICA.

The programme which comes as a follow up to the recent first ever nationwide activation in Ghana organized by 2131Clubs, seeks to highlight the current issues on terrorism and its effect on education.

The recent abduction in Nigeria of 200 girls which sparked international concern on terrorism and the major impact on the economy and education, gave reason for 2131Clubs to call on support and assistance from every student in West Africa to rise up and push the agenda.

Founder of 2131CLUBS, Jay Foley, said GLOBAL LCFI programme will connect with students in the West African sub region to participate in sending a simple message out that, "we can’t take it anymore".

He further explained that, ‘’Terrorism causes instability in our economy and we are victims of the crossfire. What will the younger generation grow into with all this violence. With this attitude from our current leaders, the future of the African Continent is very scary"
He pointed out that, "Ghanaian tertiary institutions with 2131Clubs represented on campus have been tasked with a responsibility of connecting with other institutions to pass on the message of PEACE IN AFRICA 2015".

GLOBAL LCFI will be the starting point of voicing out our frustrations as students on acts of terrorism in Africa and its effect on education.

2131Clubs is Ghana's leading social networking platform.
