Ex-Ghana Coach Milovan Rajevac has been listed as one of the three prospective coaches to take over the Pharaohs, according to reports in Egypt.
The Serbian’s name began dominating media reports especially in Cairo after Egypt FA Chairman Gamal Allam revealed following the 2-1 loss to Tunisia that the nation’s football governing body will soon sack Shawki Gharib once a foreign coach is appointed.
“Gharib will not stay as Egypt head coach. In his contract there is a main item to qualify Egypt to Afcon 2015 and he failed,” Allam told Supersport. The two other targeted coaches are Manuel Jose and Vahid Halilhodzic’.
