The music industry has over the years seen talented artiste transform into fine actors and the next potential candidates yearning to do that is hip life duo Keche.
This revelation came after they were cast among some 60 man performers at the just ended much acclaimed Okyeame Kwame ’s ‘The Versatile Show’.
The ‘Alugutugui’ hit makers were dazzled at the precision and execution of the various acts exhibited on stage during ‘The Versatile’ show saying ‘it was an amazing experience and we would love to be part of more well-rehearsed and organized productions like this one, anytime the opportunity arises be it theatre or in a movie’.
They hinted their next video might depict more acting skills with a sort of short movie storyline concept.
In addition, Keche have been featured in an upcoming television series titled ‘’Guy Guy’’, with the likes of Nicky Samonas, Kalybos, Master Richard of taxi driver fame, Hammer of the Last Two, Kofi Wayo and a host of others in a star studded list all on the cast. This new highly rated series is expected to hit your screens soon.
Those who couldn’t witness ‘The Versatile’ show missed a lot; the night at the National Theatre auditorium was sheer creativity at its best.
The show had a beautiful storyline with scenes running through from the crowd’s admirable Beggars, to the Politician who arguably had answers to every questions, to the Police who was unfairly just, to the Pastor who had by chance turned himself from the supposed ‘man of God’ that he should be to the ‘god of men’ that we saw in the drama, to the Pimp who will not back down on seeing his dream of becoming the ‘man’ he wished for, to the Prostitute who rigmarole her way through from start to finish.
In one piece, the show gave patrons value for their money and a time well spent. Okyeame Kwame and his crew deserve praise for a job well done.
