After an impressive season in the 2013 edition of the MTN Hit Maker competition with his exceptional stage craft and lyrics which have always been mind boggling to the judges and audiences, Cano Z, affectionately called 'Volta Dzata' which literally means, 'The Lion of Volta' is out with a new song.‘TSORKORDEDZI’ which literally means ‘protect it’ is the first among a series of songs to be released from his maiden album to be released at a later date.
Cano Z emerged as the first runner-up of the second edition of the MTN Hitmaker reality show.
