“Fennec Okyere was Family, Our Condolences” – High Grade Family

It is with deep regret that High Grade Family heard the untimely death of Fennec Okyere. Our collective hearts are heavy with sympathy.

We are saddened by his death but comforted in the quote of THE MEASURE OF A MAN: Ask Not - "how did he die" - but - "how did he live" not - "what did he gain" but - "what did he give". These are the units To measure the worth Of a man, as a man, regardless of birth.

Fennec was a brother to me; He will call out Tony!!! In his usual affable mood yet would not compromise his principles - those were good times. He was one who believed in the ideals of HighGradeFamily, He was a friend to Samini, leader of this family; a brother to Kaakie, Kofi Kinaata, Hus Eugene and the entire HighGradeFamily. "The Remembrance of the good done by those we have loved is the only consolation when we have lost them." – Demoustier, Fennec was family.

We are consumed with sadness to learn of this tragic loss but share in the consolation that He is in a safe place. Our hearts are with His Family and His brother, artiste and friend Kwaw Kesse.

We encourage members of the Ghanaian Music Industry to mourn and celebrate this great man, who contributed to growing this industry. Fennec, HGF will cherish your memory.
