Adom Gospel Awards (Ghana Gospel Industry Awards) In December?

Information Flex newspaper is gathering since last week is that Adom Gospel Awards, put together by Multi Media`s Adom fm will be presenting yet another edition of the prestigious awards this year December all things being equal. If it happens, this will be the third edition of the awards scheme.

Close sources to the organizers are informing this paper that preparations and plans are far advanced for the award scheme which seeks to honour hard working gospel musicians in this country to come off before the year ends. According to our source, the award show has shifted its usual months of July and August due to the fact that the organizers want to change dates of hosting the event.

Because of these changes and may be more, this year`s Adom Praiz might be combining two calender years to make way for the new calender month of hosting the event in December every year for fans and followers of the Gospel music industry in Ghana. Do you have an idea of how many gospel musicians will be in high contention if the awards happen in December as we are hearing? Note this, gospel singer, composer and performer Minister O.J will be in high contention as well as new entrant Joyce Blessing who is making waves on the Media Excel record label.
In as much as Flex newspaper tried talking to some leaders at the events and promotion department at Adom fm, they promised FLEX official information on the award will be released somewhere next week and that is where they can confirm whether the awards will be coming off or not.

At the moment, we have only heard an unconfirmed 22nd December 2013 as the date of the grand finale. Lawrence Tamakloe has promised confirmation next week in this same paper, so keep reading for more updates on the Adom Gospel Awards.
