Chantelle Asante, co-host of the award-winning Celebrity Fanzone show on GH One has called on the parents and the doctor of Abena Korkor Addo to take the necessary steps to get her off social media.
The former student of the University of Cape Coast stirred up series of controversies last week after she named some top politicians and journalists in the country she slept with and how much each of them paid.
Abena Korkor, popularly known among her peers as “Lency on Fire” until now is said to have some mental challenges and was confined to an unnamed mental home amidst some spiritual exorcising. According to her on a Facebook post, she sampled more than 40 men sexually as part of her journey of becoming a gynecologist and sexual therapist.
Addressing this issue last Saturday on Celebrity Fanzone, Chantelle Asante called on the parents of Abena Korkor to do more to get her off social media and give her the needed medical treatment.
“Where is her doctor, who is keeping her in check, where are her parents? I think if she has mental disease, then she needs to seriously seek medical help,” Chantelle stated.

Abena Korkor, who is reported to have said in one of her numerous videos on social media that she doesn’t enjoy taking her medication because it makes her gain weight, “is a danger to society,” Chantelle argued.
“If this was another country and your patient has come out on social media saying that I am not taking my medication…’, you as a professional [doctor] must call the police and have her arrested.
For mental disorder if you are taking medication and you are not on it, you are a danger to society, which means they have to take you to a mental institution,” she maintained.
Abena Korkor has failed to apologise to the people she named in her Facebook tirade insisting that her allegations of sex for money are entirely true.
“Why should I be the one apologising and what am I apologising for? “I didn’t lie about anything. I’m just apologising for my actions but they are not false allegations – I can’t live with that,” she said in an audio.
