Crabbita Media Consult has today announced their maiden event dubbed “Spit Bars and Poetry” – scheduled to come off in Accra at a location near you.
With so much free give-aways including free eye check-up, hair cut and grooming, cocktails and other mouth watering surprises for attendees, you cannot afford to miss out on this one.
The organizer of this year’s “Spit Bars and Poetry” event has adopted #BeBoldForchange – the campaign theme for 2017 International Women’s Day (IWD), as part of efforts to celebrate women and accentuate issues affecting them using poetry and spoken word.
Performers would couch and recite poems on major religious, social and cultural topical issues affecting women and the girl-child including Child Rape, Trokosi, Female Genital Mutilation (FGM), Early Childhood Marriage, Violence Against Women, Women Empowerment among others.
This event promises to be one of Ghana’s biggest platforms solely for some of the country’s most acclaimed poets and spoken word artistes – who have vowed to mesmerize their followers and event attendees.
Lovers of choreography, live-painting and portraits, love poems, choral and contemporary gospel music would also be kept spellbound through out the program.
