African Dancehall act, Shatta Wale over the weekend was adjudged as the “Artiste of the year” at the just ended Ghana Music Awards UK held on Saturday 5th November 2016 in London organized by Alordia Promotions and West Coast UK.
Aside from winning the ultimate, the Shatta Movement Boss also won in three other categories: Music Producer of the year, Dancehall Artiste of the year and Most Popular song of the year.
The night also witnessed some musical performances by top Ghanaian musician’s, some of whom were also nominees in multiple categories. They included Stonebwoy, Samini, Gyedu Blay Ambuley and others who brought the entertainment to patrons on the night.
Shatta Wale, who headlined a major concert at the Accra Sports Stadium on the night of the event was represented by the Shatta Movement team in the United Kingdom which comprised of Ibrahim Gauwusu, Quentin Quartey and Hajia Beyonce.
