Miss Ghana team together with musician, Sherifa Gunu joined Miss Africa Continent, Rebecca Asamoah to cut her birthday cake on Thursday to mark the beginning of a new year.
Rebecca turned 25 on Thursday August 4 and she received a lot of congratulatory messages, thanking God for her life and how far she has come.
Miss Ghana team held a private ceremony to celebrate her and also in attendance were Miss Ghana 2015; Antoinette Delali Kemavor, Miss Ghana 2015 first runner up, Afua Asieduwaa Akrofi, Mr. World Ghana 2016, Selorm Tay and CEO of Exclusive Events Ghana, Inna Patty.
Rebecca who is also Miss Ghana 2015 second runner up months ago made Ghana proud after beating 11 finalists drawn from an original list of 40 contestants from across the African continent at the inaugural Miss Africa Continent pageant at Johannesburg’s Gold Reef City casino on Saturday April 30.
She is the first woman in history to be crowned Miss Africa Continent.
