Young Ghanaian actor, Abraham Attah will be honoured at the 4th Annual Africa Youth Excellence Awards scheduled to be held on Saturday, July 23rd in Worcester, MA, USA.
The young actor joins a list of other African youth impacting society positively in their respective fields.
Attah rose to fame after he featured as a child soldier in the movie ‘Beasts of No Nation.’ He will be honoured for his outstanding role in the Netflix produced movie.
The Focus of the African Youth Excellence Awards is to highlight the accomplishments of “pursuers” in the areas of art, education, information technology, entrepreneurship, innovation, and humanitarianism.
AYE defines a pursuer as a young person who is striving to gain or accomplish an extraordinary project aimed at highlighting Africa in a positive way. Simply put, a pursuer is a future achiever.
Attah has won several awards including Black Film Critics Circle’s Rising Star Award, Best Young Actor at Venice Film Festival and many others.
