New Ghanaian movie, Housekeepers successfully premiered at the Silverbird Cinemas at the Accra and West Hill Malls on Saturday evening.
The premiere’s red carpet ceremony at the Accra Mall was not only patronized by encouraging numbers of movie goes but also attracted a number of respectable movie stakeholders and corporate Ghana, who came to see the movie.
Notable faces on the red carpet were: Salma Mumin, Christabel Ekeh, Toosweet Anan, Fred Amugi, Vicky Zugah, Abdul Salam Mumuni and a host of others.
Directed by Pascal Amanfo, Housekeepers features awe-inspiring performances from some of Ghana’s award winning actors who have not acted together in a movie in a long time.
It is an intriguing story of five detectives who secured jobs in a household as driver, house help and security men and others to investigate a crime.
With a mixture of humour, drama, love, suspense and action, this movie will take viewers on a roller-coaster ride and make them long for more.
Every scene is woven artistically into a fine literary piece which beautifully represents a typical Upper-class Ghanaian family with realistic issues and challenges and carefully tackles those various challenges.
The movie is produced by Platinum Revelations Co. Limited with supports from Universal Merchant Bank and Gorjiors Clothing Gallery. The movie will still be screening at the cinemas in the coming weeks.
