If clearly observed it could be seen that Ghana's capital city Accra lacks proper drainage systems which constantly result to flooding after every little down pour of rain.
The 2015 June disaster which claimed hundreds of lives and left thousands homeless with lots of property lost is a strong indication that the so called millennium city needs a proper and well structured drainage system.
Is either the government is yet to notice this as a result of past experience and incidents or they giving deaf ear to the plight of many who constantly are affected when ever it rains in Accra.
People loss properties when ever it rains in Accra and the Government of Ghana needs to handle this as soon as possible to prevent the June 3rd 2015 disaster from happening again because this year seems to be experiencing regular down pour more than ever and it always brings fear to peoples heart when ever the sky shows sign of changing into raining weather.
