Locally owned telecoms company Surfline communications will be hosting this year’s online gaming championship between Ghana and South Africa at the Osu flagship store on Saturday the 6th of February 2016.
The event is being organized with the Ghana E-Sports association, in partnership with the international E-Sports federation and Mind sports South Africa. Ghana will challenge South Africa in an online battle on EA Sports FIFA ’16.
Surfline expects this event to whip up interest in online gaming in Ghana and showcase the capabilities of its fast and very reliable 4G LTE service, as a lifestyle brand, Surfline believes in supporting initiatives aimed at bridging the virtual gap between different geo locations.
Surfline also believes in Ghana E-Sports association’s quest, to formalize an already existent gaming scene by taking advantage of its entertainment value which has a huge potential.
