INTERCEPTION is a law enforcement movie based in Ghana. The Special Ops Team is a tactical team of highly trained ex-military men who have been handpicked by the Vice-President of Ghana for specific assignments. The movie follows the team as they are assigned to track down an illegal arms dealer, Nneru Obajinzi, whose shipment was intercepted while in transit in Ghana.

“This is, honestly speaking, the best movie I’ve done in my life,” said John Dumelo. “I have been in action movies before but this is actually an action movie.”

“It’s so different from other Ghanaian films that you see out there,” said Ama K. Abebrese. “I think that we just need to show a different side of Africa.”

INTERCEPTION will premiere at the Global Cinemas, Weija, on December 11, 12 & 13, 2015, and on December 19, 2015 at the Takoradi Best Western Plus Atlantic Hotel. Show times are 6:00pm and 8:00pm.
