“Who headlines this year’s GIRL TALK concert?”This seems to be the question on everyone’s lips as we are just about three months into the female gathering event-of-a-lifetime. Some have said that Becca is coming back a year after she went solo from the EKB Records camp.
Some have also called different names of female acts with Efya and Kaakie topping the lots; but as it stands, Efya is gaining more weight in the rumor mill.
But these rumor mongers don’t seem to daze Kiki Banson, the man behind the brand -‘GIRL TALK concert’. But amidst the back and forth gossip, he seems to be slightly disappointed at how the whole gist is flowing, thus, he spoke with Starr 103.5 FM, a local radio station in the heart of Accra, he said:
“I don’t know where the information is coming from, but seriously it is not credible. As typically as we are, we don’t really talk about the show until we are ready. This rumor keeps coming almost every year. We heard it last year and even two years ago but in two weeks’ time or so, we will launch and outdoor the event as well as the headliner.”
He went on to tell the radio station that whoever will be the headliner for the 2015 edition, the launch of the event will tell sooner than expected.
