The finals of the 2015 MTN Hitmaker music reality television show took place in Accra - Ghana on Wednesday, September 30th, 2015 with a 21-year-old University of Ghana student with the stage name Kidi emerging winner.
At a well attended live show held at the National Theatre, he beat competition from four other finalists to reign supreme in the competition, which started with thousands of young music professionals auditioning.
Abena placed second, Yaw was third whiles Gunshot and CJ picked the fourth and fifth positions respectively.
After being declared winner, an emotional Kidi thanked God for making him win the competition.
