#NEW MUSIC: DARK SUBURB FEATURES ON BBC & RELEASE NEW SINGLE “COLOR BLIND”

BBC Africa’s Mark Wilberforce, recently interview the genre defining Afro-rock band, Dark Suburb.  It features an interview with the group’s anonymous lead singer discussing their unique and dark style – black costumes and skeleton masks.

The BBC feature described the band as “The Ghanaian Rock group causing a stir in Accra.”

Meanwhile, there’s no resting for the “skeletons” as the group has just released their new single.

Aptly titled, “Color Blind”, the song encourages the listener to imagine a world where we cannot tell black from white, Asian from American, Ashanti from Hutu, or foreigner from local. A world not defined by the color of one’s skin, where we are all “Color Blind”.

This is the third of four singles dropping before the debut album “The Start Looks Like The End”. American producer and musician, Colter Harper, and Lithuanian producer, Lukas Milker, produced all four singles live in Ghana.

This song is a dream Dark Suburb has about the future of the world. The group’s leader remarks, “We will overcome the battle against racism and all forms of discrimination. Nature always wins.”
