The Untold Story Behind “Me Nse Sa” Song By Bro Philemon unveiled

Many gospel artistes have recorded songs and brought them to our homes for continuous enjoyment and encouragement   over the years but the trend of most gospel songs these days have left lots of questions to ask on their ability to soul inspire   and encourage the believer to experience the true deliverance of praise to God through all the changing scenes of life.

While many believers lose faith and hope in difficult situations, some question the supremacy of God and all His promises concerning every area of their lives.

It was during one of these difficult and scary moments that Philemon Ackon popularly call Bro. Philemon of “Mo Bo Wo Dzin” fame had answers to the ordeal he and his immediate family were going through and that gave the lyrics of “Me Nse Sa” (Woara Wonim) as he heard those words directly as the voice of God repeatedly on his days of several questioning on why God would allow such a horror to struck his family.

It all happened in the year 2001, His father had been diagnosed of a severe heart condition which had his health fast draining down, his elder brother’s wedding   which was expected to lend some joy to the family on the occasion also brought a near death situation with grievous nightmares as the Opel vehicle he was driving together with three of his brothers had a head on collision with another vehicle on the morning of the wedding thanks giving service on Sunday.

The vehicle was dismantled beyond recognition but thankfully God saved all their lives though he sustained multiple knee fractures as well as other severe injuries by his brothers.

The copy of his “Mo Bo Wo Dzin” album was handed over to me  late last year then at Kapital radio and as I streamed over  all the eight songs on the CD, there was a peculiar feeling about the 8 track “Me Nse Sa” (Woara Wonim) as I listened and it gradually became favorite on my play list.

The rhythm and words of the song keeps the spirit calm and gives a soothing rest to the soul particularly in times the believer experiences hardship or difficulty and echoes Gods voice clearly and directly on providing eternal assurance and perfect security for the unknown future.

Encouragement:

Are you passing through a testing? Is your pillow wet with tears?

Do you wonder what the reason, Why it seems God never hears?

Why it is you have no answer To your oft-repeated plea,

Why the heaven still is leaden As you wait on bended knee?

Do you wonder as you suffer, whether God does understand?

And if so, why He ignores you, Fails to hold you in His Hand?

All God’s tastings have a purpose Someday you will see the light.

All He asks is that you trust Him Walk by faith and not by sight.

Do not fear when doubts beset you Just remember-He is near;

He will never, never leave you, He will always, always hear.

Faithful is He who has promised, He will never let you fall,

Daily will the strength be given Strength for each and strength for all.

He will gladly share pain with you, He will gladly give you peace.

Till your tired and weary body finds its blessed, glad release.

When the darkened veil is lifted, Then, dear heart, you’ll understand

Why it is you had to suffer, Why you could not feel His hand

So till then just keep on trusting, Thru the sunshine and the rain,

Thru the tears and thru the heartaches, Thru the smiles and thru the pain

Knowing that our Father watches, Knowing daily strength He’ll give,

Victory for each passing hour, This is life, so let us live!

Hebrews 10:23: Let us hold tightly without wavering to the hope we affirm, for God can be trusted to keep his promise.
