Be Safe And Please Don’t Politicize The Floods Devastation - Guru

The aftermath of the rains on the 4th of June in the city of Accra, Ghana caused a lot of serious flooding and a major deadly explosion at a Goil fuel station at the Nkrumah Circle both claiming over 100 lives in total.

This tragic incidence has thrown the nation into mourning and the sadness, with the president declaring a day’s state of mourning that is starting from June 8th to June 10th.

A lot of people have expressed their shock with some extending the condolences to those who have lost their love once.

Others in the mix of the confusion and pain are pointing figures are responsible for this tragedy with some making the flood devastation political.

The Ghanaian award winning hitmaker Guru, also took to his social media page to extend his condolences as well to call for the end of the political blame game.
With some pictures captured from the floods he wrote;

“Looking at some of the pictures and listening to the reports from the aftermath of the floods and the blast from the Goil fuel station at Circle in Accra, my condolences go out to the families of those who have lost their love once.

He also added;

“Since there are reports of expected rains and storms, people should be very careful when driving and should seek shelter in a safe place when they hears the reports of heavy rains coming down.

Parents should also keep an eye on their kids to keep them safe and to prevent any unfortunate situations.

Ghana needs everybody alive and healthy”
