One of the luxury cars of Ghanaian business tycoon, Kennedy Agyepong (Kenpong) was involved in an accident early Sunday morning. According to reports, The Maybach with customized registration number “Kenpong 1″, was on a towing car from Accra to Kumasi to meet the business mogul at the Kumasi airport when it had the accident.
Hmm, it appears not anyone is allowed to drive Kenpong’s car!
According to Winfred Daniel Nii Adjei of Ultimate FM in Kumasi, a towing car which was carrying the Maybach had a brake failure crushing 3 cars beyond repairs including a Corolla. According to him, no death was recorded at the scene but he witnessed serious injuries which included a hawker.
The base price of a 2009 Maybach 57 was $344,000; the Maybach 57 S, $381,000; the Maybach 62, $394,000; the Maybach 62 S, $430,000, and the Maybach Landaulet semi convertible cost just over $1 million.
